Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Muda, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Muda is a plant care tracking app that allows you to:

  • Track your plants with photos and notes
  • Identify plants using AI technology
  • Assess plant health and get treatment recommendations
  • Chat with Lilo, our AI plant care assistant
  • Set watering reminders and track care schedules

Credits and Purchases

AI-powered features require credits:

  • Plant Identification: 2 credits
  • Health Assessment: 1 credit
  • Start a chat with Lilo: 3 credits (includes first message)
  • Follow-up messages: 1 credit each

Credits can be purchased through the App Store. All purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or App Store policies.

Your credit balance is stored securely in the cloud and can be restored if you reinstall the app using the same App Store account.

AI Features Disclaimer

Our AI-powered plant identification and health assessment features are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all identifications or diagnoses are correct.

  • Do not rely solely on AI identification for plants that may be toxic or harmful
  • Always consult with a professional for critical plant health issues
  • AI recommendations are general guidelines, not professional advice

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device
  • Backing up your data using the Export feature
  • Using the app in compliance with applicable laws
  • Not attempting to reverse engineer or exploit the app

Data and Privacy

Your plant data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app, this data will be lost unless you export it first.

We store only minimal data in the cloud (account ID and credits) to enable purchase restoration and cross-device functionality. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details on data handling.

Limitation of Liability

Muda is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from:

  • Incorrect plant identifications or health assessments
  • Loss of data due to device issues or app uninstallation
  • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • Any actions taken based on AI recommendations

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
